Mr. Ken Groom

Mr. Groom was born in American Falls, Idaho and was raised on a wheat farm. After high school graduation he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and eventually in Fallon, Nevada. Upon leaving the military, he graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a B.S. degree. Mr. Groom moved to Fresno in 1977 and became a Certified Public Accountant. In 1981 Mr. Groom became one of three founding members of the Fresno accounting firm Dritsas, Groom, McCormick, LLP.

In addition to his work with the District, Mr. Groom has served on numerous boards including the Better Business Bureau, North Fresno Rotary, and Fresno Area Crimestoppers.
