Peter Sanchez, General Manager |
Peter Sanchez serves as General Manager-Secretary, overseeing all aspects of administration, planning and operations of the District. He is a registered civil engineer, and started his career with the District in 1990. He most recently served as District Engineer for six years, and before that managed both the Design and Operations engineering departments. He graduated from California State Polytechnical University at San Luis Obispo in 1990. |
Brent Sunamoto, District Engineer |
Brent Sunamoto is a registered civil engineer, and began his career with the District in 1995 as a student intern in Fresno State University’s Engineering program. Brent was hired as an engineer in the Operations department in 1996, and was promoted to Operations Engineer in 2014. |
Berta Mims, Assistant General Manager-Administration |
Berta Mims joined the District as Assistant General Manager-Administration in 2018. She oversees Finance, Office Management, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Environmental Resources, as well as communications, grants and legislative functions. Ms. Mims comes to the District from the County of Fresno, and brings 10 years’ experience in human resources, risk management and safety, employment classification and compensation, and recruitment. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fresno in 2001, and earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration in 2010. |
